For more than 20 years in France
We work to promote and develop Amazigh culture.
Our online learning programme for the Amazigh (Berber) languages, launched in 2020, is run by
European Amazigh Education (EAE)
as part of a partnership between three cultural centres.
Who we are
European Amazigh Education organises and provides teaching of the Amazigh languages online,
and works to pass on these languages in all their diversity — Kabyle, Shilha, Riffian and Tamazight. The association also supports in-person sociolinguistic French workshops, and designs its own learning methods, published and updated as its teaching experience grows.
Beyond the courses, EAE promotes access to knowledge of Amazigh cultures and their history for as many people as possible: conferences, podcasts and events, both in person and remotely, complement the course offer thanks to our partner network. Each school year, the association also organises universities, learning workshops and days of reflection on the Amazigh languages, and extends this transmission on social media and on this website through educational content.

The success of this learning experience shows a growing interest among a wider audience, in Europe and North America.
